Edge Magazine Boosts Gaming Magazines

Future's Edge magazine put in a good performance according to the latest set of ABC’s adding 13.2% to its circulation year on year. The title now commands sales of 28,790. The publisher's Official UK Xbox Magazine also performed well, adding 1.8% in the same period, reaching just over 85,000. Meanwhile, Future's Games Master and PSM2 magazines added 0.2% and 0.3% to their circulation figures respectively, sitting at 55,388 and 45,276.

Future Publishing's Official Playstation 2 magazine remains the market leader despite suffering a 24.9% downturn in sales year on year. The successor to the Playstation 2 games console due to hit the shelves within the next 12 months, could signal further trouble for the title in the future.

Highbury Entertainment's Cube and Emap's sole gaming title, Nintendo Official Magazine UK both suffered declines in the six months to June.
